    • Hey there, so there's good and bad news - basically, in GMS in this era and for several years after, you're correct that LHC was THE party-grind spot for 110 all the way 'til 165. Unfortunately, SEA and EMS were a little different, and we're on SEA. Just two or so patches before the one our server is on, SEA's Lion King Castle (which had the tough mobs and party play EXP featured in GMS) was swapped for Lionheart Castle which is basically a theme dungeon. The mobs are very weak with low EXP handouts and like the Golden Temple and Fantasy Theme World dungeons directly after they're just designed to get you through a handful of levels with quests if you're stuck solo. The good news is that it's a planned feature for the change to LHC to be reverted and the high-HP/EXP mobs reinstated. The bad news is that this won't be in the Beta. However, it'd be surprising if people graft to get that high enough in the Beta anyways.   SEA has quite a few additional contents over GMS such as more world tour destinations, but many contents missing too. Most notably the Prendergast Mansion (Haunted House, chimney maps) and NLC Alien Corridors are completely absent. This will make getting to the fourth job by and large slower, on the bright side though (well, depending on how you like to play), SEA was a very PQ-heavy server and in this era there were many PQs which almost all gave excellent rewards - PQs had been revamped to be grouped by job (30-70, 70-120, 120+) rather than the old system of each one having individual entry levels, making it a lot easier to find parties for them. This does though make Nautilus at least partially reliant on drawing and maintaining a decent population, because from experience if the playerbase is low enough that you're mostly pidgeonholed into solo grinding and doing the available theme dungeons (which would include some now-missing ones like Sakura Castle), progression is going to be slower than your average worker at Tesco's. One thing we're right now not sure of is what Stronghold is like. EMS and SEA usually mirror each other and in EMS, Hall of Honour and the Knight Chambers all got the Lionheart treatment with nerfed mobs, HOWEVER the Knight Districts, Drill Halls and Armouries featured strong mobs and party play. This made the endgame grinding map for EMS for many years Armoury 2, with Knight Chambers 1, 4 and Hall of Honour instead being the preferred maps for players in the 165-180 range and/or with relatively poor gears (so it could actually be advantageous if this is the case given that everyone's going to be weak for a good while at the server's outset), since even before the Star Force patch which massively spiked their health, they still had a minimum of 6-7m HP which was a very solid chunk in this period (cap was 999,999 and very difficult for most classes to hit). But right now from the data it kinda looks like the mobs in every single Stronghold map have taken the nerf bat which would be extremely awkward - can't speak for devs but I believe if that's the case it'd also be reverted to a GMS-like state in at least some of the maps, albeit on a lower priority than Lionheart.   In terms of classes and history, this patch directly precedes the one where the first Legends-era class of Cannoneer came out - Cannoneer is something planned to be added in official release, just not in time for the beta release. It's also the patch where the Explorer Warriors, Mages and Archers (also Wind Archer) were given revamps - all of them were known to be very strong on this patch except Dark Knight - and Ultimate Explorers/Ultimate Adventurers were introduced for levelling any KoC to 120, something which particularly benefited F/Ps (already the most powerful damage-dealer otherwise), Heroes and Corsairs. Dual Blade, Aran, Evan and the Resistance classes also all got additional changes through the Chaos era (which came directly before Jump/Ascension), so they're also all capable especially Evan as it got even more buffs in Jump. The only classes that're kinda shitty at current (this before Legends came in and casually tore up the book as far as balance goes) are the Explorer Thieves and Pirates as all of them essentially retain their stone-age preBB kits, just with numbers buffs from Big Bang. Still, don't let this dissuade you from making them if you enjoy them, especially for the Beta period which is just gonna be for the craic.
